Funerals & Memorial Services
Sincere condolences to you for your loss of your loved one.
A funeral or memorial service is a beautiful way to honour and celebrate the life of a loved one when they pass.
We can acknowledge and accept that the person we loved has gone and allows us to reflect on memories of the person, the way we knew them and say our goodbyes. Friends and family members gather to pay tribute and express their thoughts and feelings and give support to each other to cope with life moving forward.
There are two types of funeral services; a cremation or burial which usually takes place at a funeral chapel.
Memorial services can take place in place of a funeral, for example at the wake or at a later date to scatter their ashes at a special chosen location which have been stored in a box or urn since the cremation. The ashes could also be planted under a tree during a memorial service, or placed in a bench or in the ground with a personal message on a plaque.
I ensure my ceremonies are filled with compassion and professionally planned and presented to reflect your wishes and requests.
I plan and conduct a non-religious funeral service and oversee the funeral or memorial service proceedings in honour of your loved one’s memory, dedicated as a celebration of their life.
I will guide you through the steps and am able to provide any ceremony advice whenever you need.
It is an important decision to choose the right celebrant to make sure the service you choose honours and reflects your loved one’s personality, belief and wishes and makes tribute to their unique story of their journey in life.
